XenonDepot's H1 Xtreme HID Kit:For nearly two decades Xenon Depot has been involved in the grassroots automotive community not only because we’re enthusiasts ourselves, but because we want to provide you the best product and service possible for the best value available. That’s why we’ve released the H1 Xtreme HID Kit. .
XTR HID Bulb Build Quality: We start by using the same Philips quartz glass that other more expensive products do. It’s popular because it resists damage from the sun, vibration, and temperature fluctuation so well compared to cheap glass alternatives. Then we use a laser to ensure the perfect alignment between the bulb and its H1 base. That means you get the perfect beam pattern drive after drive. Install it and then you’ll never have to worry about it again. Halogen bulbs are rated at 19-65 watts meaning that these 35W HID bulbs can be safely installed in your vehicle's headlight or fog light assembly.
Going The Xtreme Mile: We want you to be able to take our bulbs anywhere without a single moment of concern about them. That’s why we use a proprietary digital German ASIC chip to monitor the HID bulbs power requirements in real-time. That monitoring gives these lamps and ballasts an exceptionally long life and balances color to ensure it’s identical. They only draw 4.5A on startup during a cold start and can operate anywhere from 9-32V giving you maximum flexibility and performance while removing any threat to your vehicle’s headlight harness. In addition, we add EMI filters to ensure you’ll never have radio interference or conflicts with your car’s electrical system. Finally, these things are shockproof and waterproof. At the end of the day there’s no other way to put it, these are simply the most durable ballasts on the market because we think that’s what you deserve.
Two-Pack of Harnesses: Xtreme HID kits come with two relay harnesses--one per side. Each relay harness will have its own fuse, ground location, positive lead to the battery, and completely sealed relay. Others advertise sealed relays, but only our harnesses come with relays soldered onto printed circuit boards, encased in extruded aluminum, and sealed with epoxy for a truly OEM grade relay harness. Each harness will come with a proper input connector that will plug into your vehicle's headlight harness with no wire splicing or tapping needed.
Warranty and Support:Look, we know that the web is saturated with cheap knockoffs, inflated performance specs, and gimmicks that try to convince you to spend your hard-earned money on what equates to a gamble many times. Here at Xenon Depot we believe in standing behind our product because we consider you, our customer to be a part of the family and we want to support those who’ve so loyally supported us. No matter what the issue you may have is, we’re here to help you get it sorted out, unlike those fly-by-night companies you see elsewhere. We promise that when you invest in us, we invest in you.

While our product line has continually changed over the years, one thing remains the same; our commitment to quality customer service. You come to Xenon Depot because you want a reliable lighting upgrade. We intend to deliver that, and much more. We have been using Xenon Depot products exclusively for our off road night racing in Australia since 2004. Never a problem.
Still going strong after 5 years, 40,000 miles
I bought an H1 Xtreme HID kit back in early 2011, to install in a 2006 Mazda 6S. Installation took a few hours because I was trying to do a good job, but was relatively straight forward following the "how to" guides I found online. I installed the ballasts in a protected, well-ventilated location under the headlight units, where OEM ballasts would have mounted if my car had factory HIDs. Lights worked first time. The 6500K bulbs looked good and offered better visibility over the factory halogens. I've had absolutely no problems with them during the 5 years 40,000 miles since the install. They always turn on first time with no flickering, and I'm still on the original bulbs. The kit must be well made because it has survived the heat of 4 years in South Florida and 1.5 years in South Texas. Can't say much better than that. I just bought a replacement Xtreme kit for spare parts, because I figure something in the original installation has to die at some point.
Should have come with these from the factory.
Bought these for my 2016 Honda Pilot Touring. I was never happy with the OE low beams. Now I love it!
Products did not work
The Kit that the website chose for me, based on my vehicle, did not fit the connections on my vehicle. When I called an asked them about it, first they told me that I was wrong and that they did send the right parts, and that if they didn't fit, then I should just trim the connectors so that they would fit. When you pay that much money, having them tell you that you need to trim the parts to get them to work is pretty poor service. They did say I could return them if I was willing to pay for the shipping, and a re-stocking fee. Not only did they lose a customer, but I have been recommending everyone in the Lexus Owners Club to go with a company that stand behind what they sell. Xenon Depot did not, based on my experience. *They did send some other pigtail connectors, but they didn't work either. I would shop elsewhere.
Purchased for 2017 Subaru Crosstrek
I initially purchased the kit that had the H1 bulbs in error, but I then purchased the correct bulbs which where the H11. I had the lights installed and they are extremely bright. I am very happy with the HID kit. Thank you Xenon Depot.
I purchased the HID kit to replace my OEM lights. Prior to ordering I called to ask for compatibility, installation instructions, etc. Iwas assured that they were compatible with my bike...upon receiving there is a lot of bulky items to try and install in a quite small space...in a car fine but my bike??..No detailed instructions...just general ones for car installation....certainly no model specific ones....reading the fine print ..no return on international orders!! Guys seemed genuine and nice on phone but not helpful (experience wise)in getting kit installed...
Not for Lexus LX 470
Purchased this for my 2003 Lexus LX470. Installed per instructions and the lighting is awful. Errant beams of light. The stock projectors are not correct. Told that I had to purchase special projectors, bake the headlights in the oven, remove the glass install and align the projectors, reseal the glass and re-install the headlights. Not what I bargained for! Another option offered on the Lexus forums was to remove the bulbs, and use liquid weld on the end of a chop stick to seal the slits and cutouts meant for lighting signage, etc. The custom car shop said to get rid of the HID's. They are illegal for my year car. The cost of the upgrades would cost several hundred $'s This is my experience and some others that have a 2003 LX470 may have had better luck. But, I have no idea how! I am removing the HID's and going with Halogens. I have lost $200. Xenon Depot did send replacement bulbs in hope that was the problem..early on before discovering the real issues. I was told no returns!
Shipping take to longer
I ordered this kit to try out in my F250. I have the Recon front projector lights and these things worked perfectly. Upon install I thought everybody was going to be flashing me since I lit up the whole road...so far not a single flash from oncoming drivers and I can see everything. This is a must do!
HID Kit with Phillips Upgrade
Purchased the H1 HID kit with the 4300K Phillips bulbs to achieve a look as close to factory OEM as possible. I installed this HID kit on my 2007 Lexus LX470 as Toyota regretfully, did not even offer HID as an option on their SUV's until recently. Install required some drilling to the old bulb access caps that screw on the light fixtures however the job was not difficult with basic tools and the final install looked very clean. Once the lights were installed the difference was amazing and the color was exactly what I wanted! I have had this kit for nearly six months and 4,300 miles with absolutely no issues. If you are looking for HID's and you want the highest lumen option, this kit with the 4300K Phillips bulbs is perfect.
