H1 XTR HID Bulbs: H1 XTR HID Bulbs are skillfully built to exacting tolerances. Just the act of installing HID bulbs into halogen P14.5s (H1) bases is a task not for the faint of heart. That's why these are laser aligned to ensure that the focal point is identical. That's just one more reason you can be sure that they'll provide the optimal beam pattern no matter if you're using them in your fog lamps or headlamps.
Exceptional Materials: Inexpensive HID bulbs use low-grade glass that won't protect the light from the UV rays they experience during daily driving. These Xtreme HID Bulbs use German-made Philips UV Quartz glass though so they'll never age prematurely. In addition, it's not just the physical materials that make these lights such a great package. Included with each HID comes with professional-grade insulated wiring that enables you to plug the HID bulb into a 35W-HID ballast (using AMP Style Connectors). To finish this truly 'Plug-n-Play' install you'll also receive wiring to connect the ballast into the vehicles OEM headlight harness connector.
Long Life: Average lifespan of these Xtreme HID bulbs is roughly 2500 hours--on par with OEM manufacturers such as Philips or Osram. These HID bulbs are sold in pairs to ensure your headlights match in color as HID bulbs do color shift over time.
Lighting the way since 2001: For nearly two decades Xenon Depot has been on the leading edge of the HID and LED lighting industry. While our product line has continually changed over the years, one thing remains the same; our commitment to quality customer service. You come to Xenon Depot because you want a reliable lighting upgrade. We intend to deliver that, and much more. XenonDepot Xtreme HID Kit
I have used many of these kits over the years in a variety of vehicles and I am always impressed with how easy they are to install and how reliable they have been. They have been my go-to kit since 2010 or so. I tried others and I felt that XD kits came with all the connectors and were easier to set up. better bulbs too (I like the Philips option). My only two comments are (1) that the ballast start-up transformer would be easier to attach with wire ties if it had a small flange with a hole, and (2) if the wiring diagrams were a bit more schematic and easier to read. Both the picture approach and an actual diagram like those in car manuals would be useful.
Was able to replace the bulbs on existing ballast wit the new bulbs. Works fine.
So far, so good.
Before these bulbs I had two sets of Morimoto bulbs. I was not entirely happy with them. The first set did not match (one bulb was significantly more yellow than the other) and the second set too blue and hence not bright enough for my liking. The 5000K XD bulbs are, in my opinion, superior bulbs than the morimoto bulbs I had before. They are currently connected to my morimoto XB ballasts and they work well together. These bulbs are noticably brighter and the bulb colors do match. If they last the test of time, I will certainly be back for more XD products.
Review of H1 HID Bulb
My first experience XenonDepot was great! First off, they called me and left me a voicemail concerning differences between my billing and shipping address. When I returned the call, I spoke with a very nice rep who quickly resolved the issue. The product was shipping quickly, and in protective packaging. The bulbs themselves were in a secure container, and at no risk for damage during shipping. I installed them recently, and they shine bright and beautifully. Would shop again!
Returning again....and again....and again
I keep returning because of their prices and the quality of their kits and bulbs.
Awesome to deal with! used many different kits from cheap to very pricey, XenonDepot definitely provides the best one ive ever owned.
Phillips version is great.
Replaced morimoto bulbs in my mini h1 v7 projector, great output and color temperature. They do not say which bulb they rebase to make them though.
Nice and bright
I put them in morimoto projectors. They are amazing.
Bought my first set of extreme HID kit for my car almost 10 years ago. One headlight finally burnt out so this time i just bought the replacement bulbs for my kit. I'm confident they will last close to 10 years again. Very happy customer.
H1 5000k bulbs 2012 Honda Fit
car has mini H1 projector retrofit bulb is a week old in car. had 1 bulb on drivers side for comparison with the old 5500k from another merchant (this new bulb is a bit warmer as expected). Now that both are in, it looks brighter and since its a bit warmer, i can see better at night even without the LED Phillips Ultinon fogs that I also got from here a couple of years back. The only problem is I bought 2 pairs by accident since the site doesn't mention 1 box equals 2 bulbs inside. I am keeping it though since I am satisfied with it's brightness right now. I assume it will get a bit brighter with more hour usage....or I will upgrade as well to a 55 watt ballast. Bulb is highly recommended
