Xtreme LED Pro: Xtreme LED Pro series of drop-in headlight bulbs are just better--right from the start. They incorporate today's most advanced components and features for unparalleled compatibility and performance. Hold one in your hand and you'll immediately discern their uncommonly high-quality fit, finish, and feel: they're made of premium materials, formed and assembled with precise craftsmanship.
Optimal Heat Dissipation: The next thing you'll notice is their all-new patented aluminum alloy leaf passive heat sink. Its compact and readily configurable design allows an easy fit in most any headlamp housing, and with its much larger contiguous thermal path, it does a better job shedding heat off the LEDs than past-type flexible mesh heat sinks. With no flex-mesh junctions to break and no motorized fans to make noise and electrical interference, clog, or fail, the superior heat rejection performance of the alloy leaf passive heat sink is retained over the long haul, for the full rated life of the emitters. That translates directly to excellent performance; the cooler LEDs can be kept, the higher their output.
Beam Pattern: The emitters themselves are genuine Lumileds ZES, three on each side of the light head, and this together with their undomed configuration means they closely replicate the size of the original halogen filament. That means a better optical match than longer 4-emitter arrays or domed COB emitters, both of which violate the light source box your headlamp's optics were designed around, and because the high output comes from three chips rather than four, luminance is higher for better beam punch and spread.
Lumens & Light Output: Anyone can throw around inflated lumen numbers--and most vendors do. Some of those numbers have no basis in reality, they're just fibs. Some of them are somewhat accurate, but only immediately after the bulb is lit up in a cold chamber, without accounting for the significant 'droop' that happens when improperly chosen emitters are inadequately cooled--don't drink the kool-aid! The Xtreme LED Pro bulbs are rated honestly: 1750 lumens stable, measured after the bulbs have been operating continuously for an hour in 60C heat. That's a rating that means (and gives you) exactly what it says. With the 5500K color temperature of our emitters, we're giving you true white light, not artificially jacking up the lumen rating with a bunch of useless deep-blue light that can only attract unwanted police attention, not help you see.
In Summary, They're Just Better: There's more clean-sheet engineering where you can't see it: we've used copper circuit boards for optimal thermal conductivity, and our compact base means the rigid tail of the light head is only 25mm--much smaller than other LED bulbs on the market. You'll note the light head is remarkably compact, without bulky over-length that prevents many other LED bulbs from fitting all the way into many headlamps. And the light head is clockable, too, so you can fine-tune the output for the best optical match with any lamp you might install them in. Truly, this is the top-performing LED bulb with OE-level quality and "fit it and forget it" durability and dependability.

H4 kit for 97 4Runner 3.4

I installed my lights in Oct. of 2019. So far I'm very happy considering i upgraded from Halogen bulbs so its a HUGE difference! You will have to cut the rubber mold so these lights will fit, it's an nothing burger. Look to YouTube for a "How to" for 3rd gen 4Runners. If you have a 3rd gen 4Runner and you want a budget friendly LED headlight, I recommend Xenon Depot H4 lights. I gave it a 4 star because it's only been since October of 2019 I installed the headlights. If all goes well in 2020, I'll update and give it a 5 star rating.

Installed in Honda CRV 2014. The is a good well defined cut off but the hot spot is very small vertically. The light output falls off dramatically from the hot spot down to the road surface. Also the bright hot spot has a saw tooth pattern, so at a distance the light pattern will produce alternating vertical dark and light bands. Since the H4 bulb is not adjustable there is nothing one can do to fix this. I'm thinking a H4 HID kit would produce a better light pattern (non saw tooth) as I have a HID kit from Xeondepot for my Honda Accord that I am very satisfied with.
Vehicle fitment guide is not accurate

I typed in my make, model and year then picked out an hid kit for my car. Then come to find out when I was installing them they did not fit my car. They were way to small to be held in the housing. I had to find a certain way to keep them still without falling completely out or in the housing. Should work on the vehicle fitment guides.
Pretty good but could be better

First off i want to say xenon depot is a top notch company with excellent customer service and very good quality products. This is the second purchase i have made from them. These led headlights seem to be very well made but i had alot of trouble installing on my 2019 toyota tundra because they wouldnt click into place without alot of trimming of the factory dust covers. In my opinion these should come with there own dust covers that would alllow them to be installed without any trimming. As far as the light output the low beam us just "ok" but the highbeam is super bright!! So thats the reason for the 3star rating, they are good but could be better. I have purchased several different brands of hid and led kits so i have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

H4 xtreme led bulbs does not fit oem socket
Cuong Pham Reviewed: 1/2/2018 9:36:00 am
I use the buyer guide to find that h4 is the socket for 2012 nissan versa. When i installed the leb bulb in the housing, the socket on the housing was to small for led bulb to fit because the headlight is designed for the halogen bulb. The halogen bulb has a thin metal base but the led bulb has a thick metal base and the circle of the led base is also too big for the socket. I call customer service and they say it will not fit even though the buyer guide on their website say it is. And the product is unreturnable due to my attempt to install on the car even though it is only on one side. The reason is because the leaf and housing could be scratch and bend during installation. I think it is stupid because if i do not try to install how would i know that it will not fit. Also XD only accepts when they received it and charges 15% restocking fee plus you have to pay for shipping which mean I will lose almost 50% of my money. My recommendation is not to buy the H4 led xtreme bulb.
Great product and great customer service!

Be careful if you have daytime running lights

If your car has daytime running lights, website says to order with CANBus.

However, for my 2008 CR-V, this just turns your high-beam bulb on at full brightness during the day, which is not viable.

They should warn you that your daytime running lights need to be disabled in this situation, and let you decide if you want to purchase. But certainly don't say with CANBUS and have your high-beam headlights on 100% power as a daytime running light.

Super clean product. Light emites well. The only tricky part was fanning out the heat sink fins and wires once all was plugged in.

First time running led headlamp bulbs. Im a HID purchaser typically
